I think I've seen some of these before and I continue to marvel at how good your backgrounds are. Really good looking stuff here!

Thanks for the feedback Danimal! Very much appreciated! I can't show to much of the things that are done and finished already (I don't wanna spoil anything), but because you really seem to like my backgrounds, I'll post some screenshots I just took of them, especially for you:

This what you see, was all 3D-generated, and everything that you see is actually in fact just in Anime Studio Pro (these are just simple screenshots from a couple of different camera locations in the setting / scene file). It literally was hundreds if not thousands of hours of work drawing it. The deal now is, fitting the characters into the scenes and make them look a bit 3D but not to much, so basically it'll mean that I'll be working on mixing 2D and 3D in Anime Studio Pro for the upcoming time (months lol).

I worked on this for I think 6 or 7 months full pull straight on as much hours a day as possible (at least 8 hours a day). Anyways. I'll hope to release the first full episode (Pilot) of the first season, before the end of this year. It'll be a shitload of work, but I really enjoy it!

As soon as I can show more animations that are ready, and that won't mess up the plots and story-lines of the first season's episode (again, I don't wanna spoil anything), I'll release them here first.

I have managed to work out my pipeline / workflow betweek Cinema 4D and Anime Studio Pro in a better way. I have been working on thet for the last couple of weeks. Here are some test results:

I am still working on the final render style of everything, but I have managed to nearly create what I am looking for as a final style to go and start working on the animated scenes.

are those cinema 4d examples something you would import into AS as video and add your characters over the video? I'm wondering how you're combining them.

I made all the scenes and settings (3D environments) in C4D and I import those to Anime Studio Pro like you can see in some of the examples in the first posts. I am now finishing my final settings of the looks I want to achieve and I will start redoing all the characters so they'll fit a bit better in to the 3D scenes. When I got that covered, I'll start working on bringing both together in Anime Studio Pro and after that I will only have to run the renders trough After Effects to give them some extra effects.

Here is the latest and almost final look of the 3D environments:

Funny. I work the other way around. I animate in AS then import into 3D using Alpha Planes. You get the lights and shadows of the 3D program with the 2D animation of AS.
