I've been away from Moho for awhile. Running v4.6.

I attempted to render an old .moho file I did last year with sound.

But, when it renders there is no sound.

I'm rendering to AVI.

I click File | Render Animation
- Antialiased Edges
- Apply Shape Effects
- Apply Layer Effects
are all checked.

When it plays in Moho it playes with sound... But AVI rendering... no sound.

What am I doing wrong?

I am having a same problem with my old version of MOHO i have version 4.0.1. When i select any sound inside my any frame, it just works perfectly in Quick time vedio but when i export it to AVI i hear no sound . Why is that??? Please solve our problem ...

I'd have to check to be sure (I don't remember offhand), but version 4 may not have supported sound in AVI files. Version 5 does, but with a restriction - your soundtrack must be an uncompressed WAV file. Other sound formats will not work. You can export any sound format to QuickTime, but not AVI.

AFAIK this is correct.

OK, I need to upgrade. Will do so tomorrow.

Meanwhile I exported to .mov and then opened it in Sony Vegas and exported it from there as an AVI and it did fine... complete with sound... if not a little more work.

Then I converted it to DivX for a hand held and then put it on my Palm Treo... and it plays great!
