Line width in percent?

IIRC it used to be in point size, now (in ASP 10) it says (percent). Can I change this back to point size?

Percent of what? The line width value was always a bit arbitrary, with no units and no reliable behaviour anyway, so I rely on adjusting by eye.

In previous versions, the line width had only one value. You could change it in the Style window or using the Line Width tool.
Now, the line has a width value (in the style window) and when you use the Line Width tool, you change the percentage of that first value. That means you now have an "overall" value and a relative "local point" value. It is useful in many cases, for example, you now can create several strokes in one line and change each point width:

Slowtiger: Thats kind of what I was wondering. Before (9.5) there was just a number, and I assumed (wrongly I guess) that it was point size. On the top of the main window it says Width (percent) and the (percent) was new to me in 10. Selgin has cleared it up, I guess thats what I kind of thought it was. (sometimes I think like a neanderthal, and think little changes are bad, but to be honest, I went ahead with what I was doing the other night and didn't even notice. So, I guess its just something I had to get used to.

Thank you for the responses!
