It almost looks like the original shorts more than the show itself, but not much. Particularly creepy was the emaciated Santa's Little Helper.

Danimal, creepy without a doubt. I saw some of his other stuff. It was pretty creepy also. Aside from the creepy story I really like his artwork and animating style. I also like the colors and the detail in the backgrounds. I wish I could animate that in that style.
