Advice on clip causing trouble.

Hello
I'm putting the finishing touches on my latest project.
I'm editing in Final Cut Express 4. I am testing a compressed mp4 version of the pro ress 44444 master file on aPS3.
One clip is causing me trouble. Created in Anime Studio Pro 9 it never fails to glitch for a tiny moment. It features a character simply moving across a screen from left to right.
The background is a black and white png.

I have tried re-animating it three times now. Is there a conflict with the background?
I would appreciate any help as it is very annoying and marring my project.

Thank you.

Can you explain the glitch or show it? Without know what the glitch is hard to say what is causing it.

Hi
Thanks for getting back.
I would say it seems to stick for a fraction of a second causing distortion that ruins the illusion of smooth animation.
Thanks

Do you have a video demonstrating this? Can you do your character animation in Anime Studio pro, and composite with the background in a video editor? What solutions have you tried? have you tried downsampling the background?

Are you watching this animation on the computer after rendering? Often the final size of a video is bigger than the computer can manage and there will be "skips" and jumps that aren't actually part of the file. Try rendering to a very small resolution to see if the same thing happens. I have a fast computer and large renders don't play smoothly because it's huge.

If there are "jumps" or "blips" of the character ONLY are there any stray keys? Often the preview won't show everything especially with "Skip Frames" turned on.

It's very very very difficult to figure this out without seeing the problem. Even if we could see the "glitch" without seeing the Anime Studio file it's difficult to guess. We need more info.

Hi Guys
Thank you for your help.
I redid the animation, down-sampled the background and put the shot together as a comp in Motion. It seems to have taken the sting out of the tail.

Again thank you for your time and knowledge.
