I saw it on Preferences panel and it is a new feature. What is it? Does anyone know?

It saves a thumbnail with the file so you can see what it looks like in the OS. Just like Photoshop and other image type apps do.

It basically "renders" a frame and saves that as a thumbnail. You can set the size of the thumbnails in the preferences.

I think also, this helps with saving files in your library. I believe in the past you had to create your own thumbnail when adding things to the library. Now when you save a file to your library the thumbnail is created automatically.

I saved files with AS10 but a thumbnail file never created. (Btw 256x256 max choosed from Preferences)

Is there any other thing should I do to see it?

I use 64bit Win 7.

Yeah, I can confirm that--it doesn't appear to work in Win 7. I only see the generic 'A' document icon. It would be nice but biggie.

The thumbnail feature is coming soon. The feature was slated for 10.0, but we ran into some technical issues we couldn't overcome just before release. It was either release an ugly looking feature for 10.0 or spend a little extra time and get it right.

I'll try and post some more information today to the beta forum for those who want to see how it looks/works.
