Problem: Mouth switchlayer doesn't work after upgrade to 9.5

Hi everyone!

I have my character in a bone layer, in which are located a further bone layer for the head group and a switch layer for the mouths (as you can see in the screenshots).
In version 9.2 I have created actions for the head turn and the mouth turn separately. A little complicated, but I wanted that also moves the lower jaw, so it was the only solution for me. And it all worked perfectly.
Since I upgraded to 9.5, I can phonemes (Wide , 4, 3 , 2, Closed, see screenshots) do not change as before.

By clicking on timeline and then right click in the switch layer (named Münder links) to select a phoneme, so the the selected phonem is displayed on the timeline but nothing changes. Strangely, everything works on frame 0 and 1 still as in version 9.2.
I have checked the actions – they all run without any problem.
I hope I could describe my problem clearly. Sorry for my continental English and thanks already for the help!

Best greetings from Berlin

If you have created smart bones to control your switch, manual switch keyframes in the timeline will not work until that controlling SB is reset to its default rotation. This may be why frames 0 & 1 work, but just a guess at this point.

Hi Synthsin,

no, I have no smart bones to control my switch (I created my character in 9.2 and a I think, at this point it was not possible to do that.
Any other ideas maybe?

Thanks for your swiftly reply!

Hi Sbtamu,

I looked at the file again and I think the problem starts, when the head begins to turn. If the head is in front of the viewer, the mouth moves works correctely.
I tried to fixed it in the actions panel, but… I can't figure out the mistake.

Thanks for your apace reply! The link to the file is down below.

Actually, in 9.2 you could "create" smart bones controlling switch layers. I mean, in 9.2 smart bones just ignored every keyframe they couldn't control.
Now, in 9.5, all that keyframes inside the smart bones actions are being considered by the smart bones.
I just checked your file and the action "Münder links" has a couple switch layer keyframes. I erased them and now everything seems to be working.

A tip: when you select a layer, you will see in black the action names in which that layer has keyframes. That makes easier the cleaning.

Confirmed, delete the switch key frames in the action of the munder links layer and it works just fine.

Thanks for verifying my guess, Selgin. Yeah, a lot of stuff that may have been unintentionally put in SB actions in 9.2 could now be controllable by SB.
