Font Tool causes instant (Not Responding) freeze...help!

The font tool memorizes the last thing you entered, it's a nice feature but it has a flaw. I have typed up 50 or so words, it worked fine but now each time I try and use the Typography/Font tool, Anime Studio freezes. Has anyone experienced this? Is there a way to clear the cache from the Font tool???

I may have a theoretical solution. Can anyone who has AS 9.5 create a file with the word text on it. Don't create the text layer into a vector; just send it as it is. I have a feeling this might overwrite the "lengthy" memorized text that's causing my AS to freeze.
