9.5: Images in 3D?

Does version 9.5 Pro have the ability to map images? I need something simple, just an image with transparency bent over a half cylinder, which I then can move in space.

I think transparency doesn't work for this and I'm no with the software here, but you can try creating a vector layer and put the "image texture" effect to a shape. Then go to the vector layer proprieties, 3d tab and activate one of the 3d modes.

Yes and no. Yes, you can use the image texture fill effect on a vector shape converted to 3D. No, on the half-cylinder, as that would require an extruded shape (which last I checked only get the texture on the extruded side, i.e. the ends of the half-cylinder).

Thx. So I have to learn Blender for that part ... I tried to avoid this!
