My first animation

HI everyone...
I got AS 9 last year but found it very difficult to get my head around - but this summer, with a lighter work schedule I've decided to sit down and really teach myself how to use it. For me it was hard, but eventually I got into it. I have found that this forum is extremely informative and people in it seem to have a much more positive/helpful attitude compared to some of the music production forum that I have visited.

I have posted my first animation on you tube, done in AS9 and put together in Sony Vegas. It is a music video for txty grl (texty girl) - a song I wrote and recorded earlier in the summer, with a late 1970's early 1980's vibe. (Music production is a serious hobby of mine...) Any comment welcome!
Dino

Kind of minimalist character design but I really liked the vibe of the song and the text characters flying around on the screen worked well. Very good for a first effort.

Thanks for taking the time to check it out Danimal, and thanks for the comments...I am already thinking about the next song I'd like to animate, building on what I have learned. It's addictive...(I've got tons of music).

There's some clunkiness to the animation, but hey, it's pretty charming nonetheless and that's a great song too. 8)

Thanks for your comments...everyday I use the program, I learn something new. What I found hard was to translate what I saw in my head into something that can be animated using the program...so after a while I settled for the more simple look here... I got AS 9.5 now, it seems like it might make certain things easier. Thanks again!
