Hello. I'm having a problem with importing videos. I've imported an .avi file thats 720p hd. When I import it, there's either a question mark there, or there is a white screen, but only the sound works.

Thinking back, it always does this, even with small avi files. It has a question mark and nothing happens. Why is this happening, and how do i fix it?

P.S. I'm using anime studio pro 9

Make sure you have the latest version of Quick Time installed. If using 9.2 or earlier, make sure you are using 32 bit and not 64 bit. But I do not think that is the problem because you are using AVI.

Thx. But I'm still having problems with .avi. Because of you though, I did find out that exporting it to quick time works, but I cannot use it because the frame rate and the quality is too low. It renders at 15fps at max, and 640X 480 at max with .mov.

Only 1 of the .avi files I tested worked for some reason. Does a .avi have to be encoded or rendered in a special way?
