Lines with lines

Funny I haven't noticed this before, but today I was stacking some lines (no fills) on top of each other and got this:
Notice the very faint dark outline on each line. It will do for this job, but I expected the lines to seamlessly blend into each other, like fills do.

Is thsi from within the app, or the final render/preview?

Couldn't replicate it on my setup either. Mac OS X 10.7.5, ASP 9.2.
It almost looks like there's 2 strokes added to each line. The "outlines" look stacked. Have you tried deleting the stroke and re-adding it?

Nope, don't see it here either. All the lines blend together with no edge.
I also tried it with a stroke on separate layers. They all blend seamlessly no edge.
As was already mentioned by CartoonMike, the edge shapes are "stacked". You can see this, some shapes are higher and lower and have mixed stacking order. This is definitely a multiple shape issue. I was able to create the same edge effect with two shapes on each vector shape, the lower shape slightly thicker.

Of course it's double strokes, thank you. As I said, it doesn't matter for this scene, so I keep it (and it's about 300 lines like this.)
