Multiple body angles, one head

Hello I am rigging up a character with side, front, back, and 3/4 views. It seems I would need to have a separate head for each view. So I would have to animate each head separately, so if a facial expression changed in the front view, and I switched to side view, I would have to make the side view head match the front view head.

I tried to create one head by making the head the parent layer of the bodies but then the bones wouldn't work properly, the head didn't stay attached to the body.

So is there a solution for having one head?
