Hi
I have set my user content library folder to be a server location, but now i have move the computer away from the server and it doesn't have access to that folder anymore, but I cant now open ASP as it keeps looking for the folder and subsequently crashing when it cant find it. Does anyone know of a way to manually reset the folder location without starting up ASP.
Thanks
Jeremy

You could try editing the "Anime Studio Pro9.user.settings" file (with a text editor such as Scite). There a couple entries such as "LibraryCurrentFolder" or "EditableFilesDir" that may help.
The user setting file is usually hidden in Windows. You can locate it by using a search tool or this way:
1) From the Start menu, choose Run, type "%appdata%"
2) Find the folder that contains "Anime Studio Pro9.user.settings" (under the Smith Micro folder).
Forgive me I haven't actually tried this, this is just a hack approach. As usual, you should back up your files before you do this.

No sadly that didnt work. I deleted the files from that location and the prefernce file and re-installed but to no avail.
I can however start up ASP in a new user and it works fine.
Is there a way to completely uninstall ASP and remove all files for it? I tried using AppTrap but it didnt get everything. as when I re-installed it just came up with the same problem.

Hey All just to ket you know I found a solution to this, I kept hitting OK when ASP asked for the external folder for the library and it took about 20 mins of hitting OK to work past the blockage, and ASP opened, I reset the folder, saved a file and hey presto, its back to normal.
