Where did my depth of field go?

Strange... I just realized that the clip I rendered last night has no depth of field. It's enabled in my project settings, and my layers are all still at the Z value I set for them last week and none of the layers have the depth of field disabled individually. Yet it's not there. It was in clips exported earlier in the week. It's not crucial for this project - I was just experimenting with it - but I'd sure like to know what happened so I can use it when I need it. I was messing around with the dimensions in the project settings for some time, and in fact, at one disabled depth of filed, but I re-enabled it after that. Funny, it seemed to me that depth of field was actually somewhat intermittent in one of my exported clips yesterday, but I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. I didn't save that one, so I can't go back and double-check.

Is there something obvious I might be missing? The effect isn't animatable is it? Did something change with the 9.1 update that I am not seeing?

DOF is dependent on layer origin, as well as z-depth. If the origin of a layer moves significantly away from the center of the camera, this will affect the DOF.

Thanks for the reply... I never adjusted the origin of the layers in between the DOF being there and it not... and my camera movements have been the same all along. Very strange. I must have changed something somewhere. As I say, it's not crucial to the current project. I will try again on my next one and see if it works okay. This was my first Anime Studio project, so I am still getting to know it and that means experimenting with different settings as I stumble up the learning curve.
