In a few words (I hope a fair summary of the above -- please feel free to correct / expand as necessary)

PhilIcare has just bought ASP9 but doesn't know LUA or the ASP scripting interface. He's using this forum to share his explorations because he likes to share and it's his way of learning.

He's made a simple demo tools that looks at mouse moves / keystrokes and describes how this works and how it's installed.

There's a simple function to get and then print on the LUA console the project start and end frames. Expanding that he moves on to navigation through the timeline - by keyframe or by frame (in 1s or 10s).

This really is scripting for total noobs...

@Phil:

Comme vous le dites, la langue ici est Anglais. Vous aimeriez peut-être à jeter un oeil à ces sites:

Received you loud and clear, @hayasidist.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
I'll leave you alone.
Oh, by the way: I'm not as beginner as it. I was designing just for educational purpose.
Thanks for the links, though.

PhilIcare, please feel free to continue writing here. The official forum language is English, but there's no reason to not have threads in other languages. People from all over the world come here to look for info, I'm very sure many will find this thread useful. People who doesn't speak italian can just ignore or translate your messages (we -the non english speakers- make it a lot).
Thanks.

PD: I just noticed you erased your messages, if you can, please bring them back.

yes - please do un-delete -- the "we speak English here" was not to say *don't* use other languages! It was to that (e.g.) in Paris the language is French... ou peut etre Verlan?! :wink: mais l'anglais est compris - par la plupart des gens. Ici la meme - la langue est anglais, mais ...

ne quittez pas!
