We tested it out on the pre-release beta version of Windows 8 and everything worked fine.

Hi Barry,

At the moment, we are not planning a version of Anime Studio for Win 8 RT.

If this changes, I will let you know.

Remember to pick up Win8 Media Center now that they are offering it for a limited time for FREE. You won't be able to play DVD's out of the box. You either have to add a player or Media Center as a add-on.

Thanks. I've been trying to decide if I'm interested in a Windows RT tablet. Having the prospect of an AS version for it wouldn't be the deciding factor but it would be a nice plus.

It would be cool to have Windows RT support, though I have no idea what that would entail. A lot of cheaper Windows tablets run it, though I have never used it. I'd give it a shop if I knew I could run ASP on one.
