A Question of Character :-)

Hello,
I have created a Character and rigged it with bones. It stands at a 3/4 left side profile. Now my question is, what else should I do to have a complete and usable character for anime studio? Do I now create the same character with a "Front" view and then again with a 3/4 view facing the opposite direction from the original? How many views of a character do I create and how much will Anime automatically figure out for me?

Thanks a bunch!

nothing works out automatically... however, if you're able to flip the character that takes care of the other side.
Flipping won't actually create a tweenable rotation though as if you can imagine the point position is literally flipped, so you end up with a flat central position (i.e. you see nothing)
The way to do it is make sure the character is constructed with enough points to create the same shape on the other side by moving the points so as you move the features to the other side, they sweep across the face and the left profile is flattened while the right profile comes out to make the same shape on the oposite side (hard to explain in words)

Really, it depends what you plan to do in your animation. Some animation has nothing but 3/4 views, you dont need a front view, you could cut away during direction flips - so you may well not need to do anything. it's all a decision based on what you're trying to achieve.
