just a suggestion from the one of the family

I don’t know how to begin…. And I don’t know if this is the right place in the forum to put my suggestion…I am not a very fluent at English so excuse me if my English is bad… first of all I want to tell you something .. I live in somewhere in this earth that does not give any care to hoppy or dreams …I am not an artist I cant draw very good…but I love animation very much than any one could imagine ..you cant imagine my happiness when I found anime studio pro 5.5 which was my first version to use … finally there is a program that could enable me to tell my stories in cartoon even when I am not good at drawings ..its a miracle for me , I started to learn it from its manual which was written professionally . I learn it .did my cartoons . no matter its quality but somehow I could make a cartoon by myself finally ..few years later I found this wonderful community , the lost marble family ..and excuse me if I called it family cause I mean it, here a lot of professional animators and users share their work , experiments , exploration and methods without being mean or conceited ….so that’s what encourage me to tell my suggestion considering my self one of the family.
My suggestion
There are a lot of amateur animator like me who don’t have jobs so they cant have the experience of the teamwork …so they cant improve their animation….so why cant the admins of this forum or one of the moderators make a workshop to do projects that all professional and amateur animators here share it…every one could share a part of animation even it is 10 seconds only . believe me it will make a difference. Specially for amateur animators to improve themselves . not to mention the confidence and experience they gain….every one could share in this projects , and at the end of each project the professional animators make the notes for amateur animators to improve their scenes , not only the technique but also animation , timing spacing …etc.. believe me no body will lose anything if he share 10 seconds of animation from his time in the sake of make others feels happy …..and maybe later we became all professional and we became the first international team of animators from all over the world…and maybe we can achieve jobs later with money and may be we can produce our own animation, no body knows….

May be some people see it silly suggestion , but considering myself one of lost marble family I said this , excuse me for the long talk or being silly , I just wanted to say that after I lost hope. And whatever the reply my regards :D

you might like to pay a visit to the "cousins" in the other forum where there's a Collaborative Thread Animation Project (CTAP) - Part 2. ... http://www.kelleytown.com/forum/animato ... IC_ID=1267

If you ask for constructive critique you'll get it; if not just enjoy adding your "10(ish) seconds" to that collaborative project. If you do decide to play please ***read the rules of the game*** which you'll find in the first post in that thread (by Kelleytoons).

see you over there!?
:D

you can drop in to the other forum without an account -- but if you like what's going on over there it's pretty easy (and free!) to register...

Hi ahzra,
Welcome to the family ;)

The problem with what you suggest is that more often than not life takes over. If you distribute particular scenes or segments to people it's guaranteed that there will be, possibly a LOT of, holes in the final cut. It's a lot of work for the person in charge too... I suppose you could give some kind of delivery deadline and then re-distribute the scene to someone else, but I don't know if that would work, and may discourage people from participating, which is exactly not what you want with a casual project like this.

Still, if you want to start such a project and see how many people take it on, you're welcome to! but don't be dissapointed, or feel rejected if interest or delivery is haphazzard.

p.s. this is probably better in the general conversaion forum :)
