i tried to export my project to .mov but it's had a crash that back me to the software with preview.
my quicktime was reinstalled
my quicktime setting was on Safe Mode (GDI only).
but this issue o of AS8 still there, what should i do?

contact Smith Micro Tech Support.
provide them version of AS8 ( listed on bottom left of about and welcome screen panes) example: 8.2 build xxxx
Provide version of quicktime
provide OS version and type of machine you are using.
that should give them the info to help you out.

I know its not SM fault that Apple is they way they are but SM has to get real now too. SM has had plenty of time at this point to move to and incorporate newer, more efficient, and globally standard video and audio formats by now. Not to mention having mere choices. Quicktime is great if your doing podcasts but for video, AVI and MOV are legacy formats that shouldn't be used anymore. Does anyone at SM read Videomaker magazine? This is a major core problem that needs to be worked on as a super priority!

Although it's about v.9, Kelleytoons's advice is still useful for v.8.

if not, how i export my anime studio pro 8 movie i made without issues?
