change motion to idle after run cycle .. !!

Hi ,
Generally , how to set animation like that :
- kid in idle pose (talking)
- then .. starts walk (run) .. loops
- then .. breaking , changing motion (idle again)

i mean i have done the moves .. but what technique to mix it ? thanks.

Just set enough keyframes: one at the start of each movement, one at the end.

but how to stop (cycle mood) to make the kid does another motion ???

EDIT : i use cycle interpolate option for running
the same character .. one shot .. idle>run(one step)>break to idle again
well.. i want to cycle (say 9 steps run) then continue

Just set any keyframe at the end of the cycle.

i do funny learning series (non commercial) for my nephew's school .. about Zozza the cute child who goes around funny jungle and meets riddles and helps creatures
some times i make little things on politics and human rights
