Hey!
long time!
i did this dvd menu some months ago using moho i'd thought i'll share it here :

http://animatic.no-ip.com/cgi-bin/movie ... eRuban.mov

(link to my server which is also my production machine i hope it's fast enough it's 15 MB and not downloadable just clic on the link)

I had a bigger serie project using moho but my client got discouraged because of AI import bugs (to bad) Then he switched to after effects ... (silly for anim IMO)
I was very busy doing 3d lately but i'll be back soon!! (LM your 5.2 looks wonderfull thank you)

thank you all!

Very nice! I liked the overall effect, as well as the style and animation of the photo people and set.

Did you do all of it in moho? Or did you do the letters in a different program? I like the bouncing physics of them.

What did you use to put it on a DVD? Did it automatically scale it to the right dimensions for use on TV?

Finally, is there supposed to be sound?

Thanks for sharing!

hey Jorgy!

all the anim was done in moho (with many custom scripts and a long preparation of alphas and textures in toshop)
The letters just use dynamics and was the quickest part to do (thank you LM)
As always i use big softwares for post production
here shake for compositing and scenarist for dvd authoring (+some encoder of course)
Moho goes very well in such workflow if you use png + alphas images sequences and would mix great with zbrush/maya real shoots to IMO
Also i couldn't have done this without my ram player "loop"
Yes there is a (silly) music on it but i didn't add it to the quicktime version...
There are a lot of other video menu made for the same project (more 3d cam and comp. lighting effects)
I worked in pal resolution from the start so no scale problem

I am happy to come back to this forum guys!

oh and i forgot the essential about the workflow :
i wrote some script to render all layers separately (automatically!)
and composited in shake with a lot more freedom that way

btw i posted all my scripts everywhere on this site (i like to share them!)

sincerly yours
