hi
1- any way to render selected , or region .... for some reasons !
2- how to assign (one) key .. instead of ctrl + R !
3- why animation prev. (ctrl + P) & F5 never work with me .. is it requires a certain codec or MPlayer ..?
4- what style or (kind of layer) slows render ?
thank you

may i add another silly question .. it is very vital to me ..
when i manipulate my character's arm ( or legs ) with bones , i always need to re-shape its looking ( translate some points ), to have that limb looks fine & smooth at that key or pose .
well ... is it normal to do that ? i mean bones don't do all the job .. right !?
i just want to know if profs. animators do that .. (adjusting points after bones animation)..and it's not a very bad rig i do
thank you

1. yes if its the only thing visable even if you have to copy your selection onto its own layer to do it.

2. not that I know of

3. ctr+p is the command for point peak, ctr+E is the export command

4. any layer that is point heavy like particles layers

sometimes point tweaking is necessary but maybe you can rig the limbs better. check this video on limb rigging.

thanks jonbo ... and please help me with that :
1- i need to see rendered image of that tiny object at a certain frame without having to miss with the camera ..
2- applying gradient to that arm turns its fill to gray .. no eyedropper to get again my skin color
3- F5 never work with me .. is it requires a certain codec or MPlayer ..?
thank you so much

1. For this I would use ctr+r and save as a png image. I would then re-import the image and use layer scale and layer translate to enlarge the area I wanted to show. Now just use layer visability to show the image when you want.

2. Don't use gradients on moving objects, too many problems with that. Use shading effect instead. Use the select shape tool to select the shape with the gradient and then use the eyedropper to change its fill back to your skin color.

3. On my system, PC WIN7, F5 uses QUICKTIME. Do you have QUICKTIME installed? You should, it has better video codecs and AS needs it in order to play MP3 files.
