Hi!
Have any of you an animation light box?
Does it rotates or it is fixed?
Did you built it by your own? if so, did you follow any how to guide?
Did you purchased it? Was it worth the money?
Thanks!

I don't, but animation discs are a popular subject on AnimationForum.net (a more general animation forum):
Animation Disc?
In particular, the response by D.T. Nethery is incredibly useful.

I used to have a disc but as I don't do much drawn animation these days I just use a wooden A3 craft light box purchased cheaply on Ebay. You probably couldn't make it yourself for much less.
I just stick a standard 2 peg pegbar onto it that I got for about £3 from Chromacolour. This means I don't have to purchase animation paper for an acme pegbar but can punch my own paper with a standard two hole punch.
If you are going to do a lot of traditional animation then I would recommend you purchase a disc.

Thanks for the response guys!
Your animation forums link is very useful netters!
I just want to explore the hand drawn animation process. Also, build one light box by your own can be interesting. In particular it is a challenge to make it the cheapest possible (taking local suppliers and nearby artisans)
I don't know if it will come a reality one day but it is fun to spin around it.

It's possible to build one for less than 100$.
