Well I tried to render a piece of animation I was working on and got an error message on playback (with potplayer and VLC, first time this has happened.).

Then I tried playing it with Quicktime and it worked. But now, all my prior rendered Anime studio videos are playing backwards (mirror images).

Anyone have any idea what happened?

in VLC you can add filters - one of them was a play in reverse.
Maybe you switched it on by mistake...?

Thanks. Yeah, I figured it out. Somehow I hit Control Z in Potplayer which puts it into mirror mode. Ooops.
