Anime software for a 13 year old.

Looking to by Anime software for my 13 year old grandson. Looking into Anime Studio Pro 8. What else will he need besides software?

If he is going to draw inside of Anime Studio then all he needs is a decent mouse, if You think that He'd prefer to draw on paper then import in Anime Studio, a cheap USB scanner could be a good add-on.

Yes, The Animator Survival Kit is a great book, but do 13 years old still read those?
Heheh, joking here, great book.
The Preston Blair books are also good for beginner's and You can by those in most art shops.

I'd stick with Preston Blair. ASK would be likely to be a bit overwhelming for a beginner, I would think.

True, the Preston Blair book are easier for young ones.
