Does anyone know where I can find some good reference templates for different views/perspectives -- both people and animals?

Wanting to do some character creation and I've got the front aid side views down--but the front and back 3/4 views are very challenging.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I got myself a HD webcam that is perfect for posing, some cheap ones these days!

Yep my HD cam is built in and I love pulling faces and making sounds.

I think one day I may even use them for reference

I used to do the mirror thing and I probably pulled a muscle once or twice.

The good thing about recording is that You can pause, scroll, scrub and modify the image to your need, I find it very useful and fast.

That's a good use of references. Sometimes if your trying to draw something like scenery you are better off getting lots of different references a take the bits from each.

Finding faces in different poses is easy with google. There are loads of sites to do this particularly for 3d.

And as for videoing self acting, once you get past feeling like an idiot it's the quickest way to do something. Imagine a face reading something and then moving to the side and looking surprised. I'm not suggesting rotoscoping but it's as good a way as any to get a couple of key poses.

because i cant draw good i design in 3d software and export jpeg file to AS on trace over it. i dont do 3d animation because my laptop cant handle 3d max to animate but i create in it i try poser one
