It keeps saying not a valid serial number yet had no issues before.

I kept trying and it finally worked.

If you purchased an extended download, then you can download the full 8.1 installer. Just go to your page at contentparadise or smithmicro.

Just reload and try again, I had the same problem but it went away on a second attempt.
It's got nothing to do with extended download.

I know that! what I'm trying to say is that you can get a full install as opposed to an update plus avoiding having to enter your serial number and going through the ordering process just to download it.

Sorry Pat, I can't know what you know, i was just offering a solution to those who do not have ( or expect to pay for) the extended download.

Pleasant surprise number one , library doesn't crash anime! looks like the bug fixes are in.
I like how my installed scripts weren't overwritten too that was a thoughtfully considered installer from the dev team. Thanks!
I wonder what else will be working better.
Disappointed that the multi-touch doesn't work on the tablet pc though...wtf?

ahh, no worries Chucky! After all, we were both offering help ;)

I haven't had a good play with it yet but at the moment, no probs yet!
Looks like a good update.

Hi chucky. I reloaded several times and am still getting the invalid serial number. I'm registered, so that's not it. I contacted their support... I'm sure we'll get this resolved soon (after Thanksgiving US holiday, probably, though).

It's got nothing to do with extended download.
I finally got it to work also with multiple tries.

Hmmm I have dual touch which is nice I guess but no red dots for the multi.
Still I am happy with the update :)

NOTE: this was total user error on my part. attempted to download the debut version instead of pro. whoops.
