Important question about Blend Morphs

Hi.
I'm new to Anime Studio Pro.
Here's my question. Suppose I set up an action named, for example, "Smile". Then I go to, say, frame 100 and open Blend Morphs and push the slider all the way to the right.
I'd actually like the Blend Morphs dialog box to stay open, but it won't let me, so I close it.
A little later in my animation, I would like to pull back on the "smile", so I open the Blend Morphs dialog but the smile slider is set to 0 (all the way on the left) not where I left it. True, I can slide up the Default pose slider, but that is not what I want to do since other things have changed and all I want to do is affect the mouth, let's say.
I would like to have sliders that affect just the x and y values of the points that move, not everything in the scene.
Is there a way to do this? What about doing it with scripts? Has anyone done this or is it possible.
Thanks and cheers.
