How do I turn my drawing into an anime?

I'm really sorry if this is a ridiculous question but I can't find anything anywhere that shows me how to make my drawing into an anime.
I scanned a drawing, brought it up on AS, did the masking thing and traced it.. i don't even know if thats what i'm supposed to be doing but, like i said, I can't find anything showing/telling me how.
I want to be able to put the bones in so i can animate it.

If you have the software you also have the manual that includes tutorials that will teach you almost all that you need to know. Click on the HELP menu at the top of the work area.

After you've read and done all the tutorials in the manual, read the posts by forum member kellz5460. He is doing a ton of anime style work and has posted much about the techniques he uses.
edit:
To set your mind straight about "anime" vis-a-vis "animation", you might want to read this thread:
Has anybody actually made anime/manga with anime studio? It's not about techniques specifically, just a way to think about learning animation.

I also suggest that you look at the characters from the content library to see how they're constructed.

All right, I'll help you. First what version are you using? Debut or Pro? AS5,6,7,or 8? Have you created a bone layer in the layer palette and dragged your drawings into it? Are you on frame zero? Are you using vector shapes or images? The easiest thing to do is to upload your anime file to a file sharing site like Mediafire and then post the link for it here so we can check it out. Also there is a bunch of video tutorials in the tips and techniques section of the forum. A couple of them are for beginners. Try these first:

See this is what i needed.. i don't know how to get to the bones.. i mean, you do them first? I know how to use them with the characters that are pre-made, I just can't figure out how to combine them with my drawing.
I'm using AS pro 8.
I actually just found some more info in the tutorial I didn't see..
This tutorial is kinda rum-do, weird to follow.. I'm more of a "monkey see, monkey do" kinda girl.
Thank you so much
