Cutout style

This is from a recent project dealing with a technical topic. All parts created in TVPaint, except the feet which are vector shapes. I had no problem to match the colours since the RGB values of TVP and AS are the same. The character has a complete skeleton (upper/lower arms and legs) although there are no parts attached to most bones. The images are layer bound, the feet standard flexible binding.

The nice part will be that I can create a whole crowd of these by just exchanging the bitmaps.

cool :)
Like the textures - but there's nothing here you couldn't have done easily directly in AS right?

You're right - but the project started in TVPaint, with all designs, and will still incorporate some FBF sequences done there. Also I'm much faster drawing in TVP.

Note: If you, like me, duplicate one master file and change the styles there, be sure to do this on frame 0, otherwise you'll end up with a nice but useless transition from old style to new ...

Otherwise the workflow works fine: duplicate master file, change style properties (colours, in my case), rename style, rename top group layer of charatcer with that style, save under new name.

Now I can import from all my duplicated files and have basically the same character (and animation), but each with its own colours and style, in one file.
