From what I can see they look nice. My monitor has a pretty nice contrast ratio, with deep blacks but still hard to see your images.

Do you use Photoshop? Tweak your levels/curves to make it darker. There is an auto button if you don't know how to use it.

This can be achieved with Gimp and Picasso and other free editing suites if you don't have access to PS.

No worries 8) I've only used GIMP a few times in the past, but handles most of the basic image editing features one would need.

Cool I like him. Definitely has that "woe is me" look going :-D Nice expressions, even if he is basically in a depressive looking state.

Hmmm, I'm not really all for "throw a photo through a filter". Depends on the result though. I know you are a one man band and looking to cut corners, but I don't know if photos run through a filter is the right way. I'd put the effort into drawing or painting the backgrounds 8) Just my 2 cents

It's a bit mixed- I've thought about it and have drawn some things- the bus stop itself is all drawn but the problem is i don't know how to draw in AS and I'm sucky with paint programs like GIMP and whatnot--

if you know any tutorials on how to color things with AS please let me know-

thats the real problem- I can draw the scenery on paper but using AS to draw/color just looks too wrong for what I want

what I really need is an awesome background artist so I can focus just on actual animation

Can't see the dance in Germany because of the music.

The walk has a problem: either you shorten his stride to match his non-moving body, or you add more bounce to the body to match the wide stride. Since he doesn't swing his arms, he needs to balance with his body, creating bolder movements.

Overall nice work.
