Why is the left foot distorted when moving the right leg?

Post by ronnecke »

Hi!

I'm really new to Anime Studio and have created my first character. All have went as expected so far, but... when I manipulate the bones in the right leg the shape of the left foot is distorted. Why? Every shape have it's on layer.

I'm including an image!

Have a look into the manual under "bone offset".

Basically it works like this:
Place your character's limbs apart from each other. Create the bones over them Bind the bones (or use flexible binding, the default). Select the bone offset tool and drag the top bone of each limb to its final position.

Thanks, slowtiger! I didn't understand all you're writing, but now I know where to dig in the manual :-)

Thanks!

also, double clicking the bone layer and under 'bones' region binding might help... but putting things far appart and then using the offset tool to bring them back is good practice.
