Alright genuises. I know I'm not the first guy with this thought...

Have you guys created a script that allows you to add a point with a right mouse click while you're using the translate points tool?

I've just spent the last couple of hours tracing shapes. After you have the rough outline and you're massaging the points around with the Translate Points Tool it would be awsome if you could just add a point here and there with a right click instead of bouncing back and forth between keys.

I've used Blender a few times and I seem to remember being able to do it with that program.

Of course knowing my luck you can already do this in AS and it's just not in the manual.....

I think it's important to have the right button for zooming, panning and rotating the canvas... is resting your left hand over the keyboard over T and A and flicking between them that difficult?

Absolutely definitely unequivocally yes. But you're probably right..... this time.... but I will be back.

We have this in Softimage where we can temporarily activate a tool by pressing and holding it's short-key.

Say you are building a shape, then go into translate mode, by holding A you could add a point, and when releasing it, you get back on translate mode.

I don't think it is possible in AS though.

Might be a good idea for a new tool set to increase workflow though!
