Most Practical Way To Delete/Remove Part Of An Animation?

Post by drumlug13 »

Example- If you have an animated character that runs about 60 seconds and you're happy with the beginning and end but would like to change the middle, what is the best way to remove a section of keyframes ?

In this example the character is built with 20 or so bones. Obviously you could go through each bone one by one deleting keyframes as you go, but is there a more efficient way?

Also what if you have multiple characters that you would like to change for a small section?

if you select mulitple bones with the select bone (B) tool, then select the keys you want deleted FROM THE RED LANES (which only applies to currently selected bones/points - as opposed to the black lanes) then delete them (alt+backspace) should work...

Thanks Funks.....

I also just discovered and added the nudge keys tool set. That should definitely be a standard function.
