swf export issue

I have a simple animation with audio that I'm exporting as swf. The export completed successfully, however there is no audio in my swf file. The audio file that I used is in .wav format.

When I export as an avi file, the audio is there...

Any idea why?

Audio file needs to be mp3. See the manual.

Thank you. Unfortunately, that didn't work either. I converted my wav file to mp3 in Audacity. Maybe a problem with the codec?

The .mp3 file needs to be in the same directory as the Anime Studio file. I'm not sure if you still need the wav file as well...been some time since I output to Flash format.

I put all the files in the same directory, converted to mp3 and still Anime won't export the sound.

Tried a longer route of exporting to avi and then using a freeware to convert to swf. Just not the same quality. Just doesn't look as good as a direct swf export.

Any other ideas on why and how Anime can export the swf correctly?

Check or play with your sampling rate and channel settings. I seem to recall that mp3 works best at 44.1 kHz and in stereo.
