Problem with export.

Hey all! I've just moved from Debut 7 to Pro 8. I keep having an issue with exporting an uncompressed AVI in full quality. It will get through the render, but the file won't work. When it completes WMP opens it and says it can't play it and no other programs can open it. I don't seem to have any problems when I check the half frame rate and dimensions options. Currently I've had the problem at 720x534 and 1920x1080. Also I'm rendering about 1350 frames.
Has anyone had a similar problem? I assume this is my computer's problem or user error.
Appreciate the insight!
Thanks!

its probably too big a file to play back on your hardware - try using Quicktime export... 'Animation' setting will result in a big file but great quality, and 'millions of colours +' will include transparency alpha for compositing if you need it.

I was able to upload one of the files to youtube, so it definitely is my hardware. That's going to make things a little complicated.

Yes I had this happen once before. What I did was to import it to Virtualdub and an error will popup and Virtualdub will fix it. Then just save it as avi with a different name. Can't hurt to try seeing how Virtualdub is free.

As it was said, quicktime export to animation codec is basically lossless, also, quicktime has the best scrubber I have seen.
I also use virtualdub allot, you can find it here.
Virtualdub
Don't be shy to ask questions on how to use it, that is, if you decide to use it!
