This is an elaboration of the frame-by-frame-using-switch-layer technique described in the manual. In particular, the head groups are done well and I like the idea of using point motion to fix the neck and adding dynamics to the hair.

I think the video explains it pretty well, but it's a bit long. The real explanation doesn't start until 2:33.

Anyway, nice looking head turn and your tracing/drawing skills are great.
