Really Silly Question

For the life of me I can't figure this out, so please excuse my newb-ness.
How do I increase the line size of a segment that is not part of a closed shape?

it all depends on how you made it. easiest way is to set the line width to the new setting in the style palette, then click on the line with the paint bucket tool. if it doesn't update to the new width, use the select points tool to select all the points on the line segment and then try the paint bucket tool again.

have you tried the line witdth tool?
