Liked the video, I just have to wonder what was wrong with the original version...

just goes to show - there are no more original ideas anymore. We just keep putting out the same dumb crap over and over.
I mean really. Family Guy IS the modern 'flinstones!'
really!
nice job on the animation though

Well.......at the end of the nineteenth century, someone suggested that the patent offices should all be closed because everything had been invented.. There's plenty of original ideas out there -- just don't expect many from Seth MacFarlane.

You know why? There doesn't need to be original ideas anymore. We just keep racing out to see the same dumb crap over and over. Why spend money on something original when you can churn out some crappy remake and people will still watch it?

Nicely done!
(It's a little ironic, the conversation here... the Barney/Stewie character is actually talking about how today's stories have become so formula-driven... unoriginal.)

I found Okse's take on Hanna Barbera's characters interesting. I look for creativity as opposed to something different. Everyone has a unique thought process. My goal is merely to illustrate my unique vision and do it well.

This is a good point. Except of course that rehashing someone else's show is neither "creative" nor "unique," but again - as long as people buy into it, it's going to keep happening.

The Flintstones was based on an earlier TV sitcom called "The Honeymooners", I think. So it's part of a long tradition.
