I'm using a switch layer to animate a character's mouth

I'm using a switch layer to animate a character's mouth. I have dumped three vector layers inside the switch layer, each representing a different mouth position, imported the dialogue audio file and then selected it as the source in the switch settings of the switch layer....

However, as far as I can tell, when I play it, the software is only utilising one of the vector layers in the switch layer... it just flashes that on and off and ignores the other mouth positions...

Any thoughts?

By "ignore", do you mean it shows no layer at all?

yes, when I play it - I mean, the layers are visible in the switch layer palette and I can make them appear by clicking on them individually.... but when I actually play it back, only one layer is appearing

Just by chance, do you have a vector layer selected when you hit play? If so make sure you have the switch layer selected or nothing selected.

Actually, when I hit play it works fine. It's when I render it that this happens.
