Make an interactive educational video?

Does anyone know how I can make an interactive educational video using Anime Pro?
I like to be able to set certain part of the screen to be clickable so students can choose an option and explore their answers.
I believe this can be done on youtube using spotlight, is there something similar available in Anime Pro? (i.e. allow user to click part of the screen which will link them to another video?)

AS Pro isn't an interactive application. You need Flash (or, at least, some program that will give you some of Flash's interactive bits). Flash gives you quite a number of options, so is a good choice, especially as most browsers have the Flash player included. (I've developed a number of educational/training applications using Flash).

Thanks for this, does Flash allow me to cut my video into clickable regions and then link this to the next video?

Yes, that's possible. Note: Flash doesn't do the cutting - you have to render separate files, or edit them in a video software. Flash only links to those video files and adds buttons and code to navigate between them.
But the example you've posted in the Jobs section can be simplier done in Powerpoint or any other slide show software. There is no animation in it. Doing this in video would be a waste of time and bandwith.

You can import video footage into Flash, and than use an invisible overlay button (any shape) to link to other parts of the same file, or to other files.

Thank you for your replies.
Re slow-tiger: I did explore some powerpoint software before doing this video (the video example was done by an animator I hired), but it was quite hard to get certain effects, so I ended up using Animator Pro.
