.mov missing

Whener I try to import movies, its just a piece of paper with a rip in it. ive tried reinstalling it but it doesn't work. help? i have anime studio debut 6.

If your movie files are missing the .mov extension, you can add it by double clicking on the on the file name.

Do you have installed quicktime?
have your file or folder names simbols as ñ,á,é,etc?
R:
-Install quicktime on your computer
-Rename the files or folders

ive installed quicktimem and the movies run, but not in anime studio

Do some tests.
Create something in AS, only 1 second, 1 moving element. Export this as Quicktime. Check if this gets imported again.
Repeat with different codecs, usually all that exports should import as well.
Check your problem file. Open in QT and select "Information", it gives you details about codec, fps, and so on. I bet it's totally different from the files you successfully tested.

as i've said before the movies run in quicktime, but not in anime studio. and i made an animation and it plays in anime studio (the AVI) so what do i do now?

Ah, found it! when i changed movies to play in quicktime quicktime asked me if i wanted to associate the movies only with quicktime. i clicked yes last time, but this time i clicked no. now it works! Thanks guys.
