I read Selgin's Techniques post about workflow and how he added shortcuts for the Layers and Tools panel and I gave it a try. I was able to put in CTRL+L for layers panel but I can't put CTRL+T for my Tools panel.
I erased the shortcut for insert text from the strings file and there isn't a shortcut in the tools file to change but I still get insert text with CTRL+T. What's missing?

Also, I remember a post saying that I can use the function keys (F1, F2, F3...) as shortcut keys. I put F1... in my tools_list but they don't work. I think I did that for 5.6 but it doesn't seem to work for 6.2. Is this true?

Sorry for asking simple questions. But I've been searching the forum all day with little luck.

I can't explain it but when I got out of work and reopened AS the CTRL+T worked for my Tools panel and not insert text. Also CTRL+L doesn't reset line width even with points selected.
The original targets were automatically reassigned to CTRL+. and CTRL+, but they don't work.

I still have to check the function keys on 5.6 but I'm sure I used them with 6 as well... i think.
