I've set all the shapes far apart and added bones to each of them. Even clicked the region binding, but when manipulating lets say the left arm... the right arm moves and it's not the parent of the bone. Please help.

I might get flamed for saying this, but personally I do not like regional binding and creating the character with parts all over the place. I like to manually bind the points to the bones.
