Thanks for the support everyone. I have a tutorial i'm using and it's very helpful, but it's working with Anime Pro 5 and i have Anime Pro 6. I'm trying to make a flying saucer fly behind a moon. To do that he's using settings and i don't see it anywhere on Anime Studio 6. I see Channels, Sequencer and Motion graph. Please help if you can. It may sound like a crazy question, but i'm EXTREMELY new to this.

You should start saying what you don't see, this way will be easier to help you.
Anyway, check this. AS 6 has a new behavior on timeline: you don't see the channels until you make a movement in time (generate a keyframe). Be sure you have at least one keyframe on the channel you want.
Another think to see is go to the preferences. If "consolidate channels" is activated, try unchecking it. Consolidate channels groups all the keyframes of a layer (layer movement, layer rotation, point movement, bone rotation, etc) into a one single general keyframe. This new behavior was made since version 6 to make animation easier to amateurs, but if you don't like, just turn it off.

Thanks for helping selgin. I'm still lost. I have a Flying saucer flying in front of a moon. Then it's suppose to diapear behind it. I have three layers setup for this. I have The saucer layer. The Moon Layer. The duplicate Saucer layer. In the Timeline i can see the Duplicate saucer disappearing behind the moon, but i don't know how to hide the first saucer layer.

if you double left click on the saucer layer in the layer pallet , the top most one, the layer submenu will come up. just uncheck the visability setting to turn off the layer when you want it to go behind the moon layer. the bottom saucer layer will now be visable and since its lowest on the layer pallet it will be behind the moon layer

here's a quick example if you want to see what i mean

Anyway, watching the file, I think it would be far easier work with it if you use animated layer order instead of duplicating the layer.
Just put the moon and the rocket inside a group or bone layer, go to the settings of the bone layer Depth sort and check Animate layer order. Then just re order the layer in the frame you want, a new keyframe (indicating a change on the layer's order) will be created on the bone layer.

i'm with you there selgin, layer ordering would be easier but anniemoe's question was on a tutorial she's doing and if it shows a duplicate layer set-up , then it sounds like it wants to show how to use visabilty. just my opinion :)

Yes, you are totally right. I just couldn't resist the urge to write it
