Has anyone tried Audacity 1.3.12 beta yet?

The noise removal effect seems to work tons better now and I'm not getting that 'mechanical" sound that I used to get if I set the removal to high.

There are also some tweaks they did that makes it more user friendly.

I'm still using 1.2.5 but enhanced noise removal is probably enough to get me to try the 1.3.12 beta. Thanks for the tip; I usually don't keep up on new features until a full release has come around.

Yeah thanks for the heads up too. Noise removal is currently excellent so I'm surprised they've been able to make it better!

@sbtamu: Thanks. I'm still on 1.2.6. I was just on their site the other day to get the link to post on my site. I thought I saw a new version, but didn't think twice about it.

I'll have to go grab it.
