Can someone give me a somewhat advanced breakdown of the controls for Blender? I understand the features and usage, but I can't find the keyboard shortcuts. . .

Thanks, That helped me out a lot!

If you select 2 or more Armatures ( skeltens) and Press CONTROL+J
all the skelton will be joined in a one skelton
In the manual it is mentioned as Join Objects.

Select Mesh1+Mesh2+Mesh3 and Ctrl+J will become 1 Mesh
Select Armature1+Armature2+.... and Ctrl+J will become 1 Armature
