The sequencer is great but camera operations appear to be independent of anything the sequencer does. How does one adjust the camera timeline items to match the movements made by the sequencer?

I believe the sequencer only works on layers( group, particle, bone....) so to move the keyframes you could use the rescale keyframes option in the animation submenu if you have a lot of camera movements you want to move. If you only have a few left click drag on the individual keyframes to their new locations probably easiest.

Sorry it took so long to respond. Based on your input I revisited the rescale tool. At first glance, the dialog box is a bit daunting which is probably why I shined the feature on earlier in my explorations. After a a minute of study, however, the "rescale entire document" jumped out at me and simplified things immensely Anyway, as you suggested, that was the solution to my problem. Thanks a bunch!
