EPS

Why is it when i import an EPS file created with Coreldraw X4 into AS the colors do not show? the image wire frame is there but all the color is black.
Do i need to save the file a certain way in coreldraw? or do i need to import or tweek something in AS to turn the colors on?

The eps/ai import in AS is limited. Colors must in rgb, gradients aren't supported, Illustrator files must be ver. 8 or less, etc.
There are a lot threads about this; search on "eps" or "illustrator import".

You will mostly likely need to rebuild your colors after import.

I said it once, I'll say it again, and keep saying it... the best way to get vectors into AS is to create them in AS - yes it's a learning curve - but if you are creating vectors FOR animation, do them in AS!
